Well here we sit at 6 and 0, and ranked number two in the nation. Coach Saban has asked everyone, especially his players, not to drink the Crimson Kool-aid, but I find myself taking a sip every once in a while.
The What ifs are so abundant. What if we win out...easy question. What if we lose one..kinda tricky. What if the absolute worse happens, and they experience a melt down like last season...can't think of that, never, never, never.
Well I learned a long time ago to never say never. Last year hurt, it hurt worse than many would let on to. It hurt the players, coaches, and the entire Crimson Nation. But, one has to look to the positves. Who is to say that the meltdown from last year isn't the cause of the great season we are having this year. Sometimes when bad things happen, it makes you re-focus. When you re-focus, you begin to see things more clearly, and you perform better. Kind of an out of the ashes sort of thing.
I hate for the Tide to lose, but if it brings wins, and then championships, Last year will be worth it. Ahh, I'm thirsty, and I know exactly what will quench my thirst, hurry up and pass my drink...the red stuff.
